1930 Albert Hausch founds a production company for machinery.

1938
The first wooden stick grinding machine is being constructed.

1949 Year of construction of the first chain milling machine.

1950 Production of chain driven milling cutters, knothole drilling machines, shutter slitting machines, table circular saws and shutter milling machines.

1967 Construction of the first double mitre saw (DGL) for cutting of vinyl and aluminium profiles.

1970 Introduction of the first double mitre saw (DGS), the broad cut saw (BSK) and mitre saw (UGS).

1974 Foundation of RAPID-Maschinenbau GmbH

1982 Construction of machining centeres for aluminium and vinyl profiles.

1985

Construction of the first cutting centre of type Optima.

1992

Delivery of the first interlinked machining center for vinyl profiles.

1999 Commencement of the partnership with URBAN GmbH & Co. Maschinenbau KG.
2000 Foundation of RAPID GmbH Maschinenbau und Automatisierung Calau.

Construction of the DGL 300.

2003 Construction of the DGS 100 and UTK 90.

2005

From now on else small an middle window manufactures can get into the automation with dhe processing center MFC Evolution and the automatic saw Optima Evolution, which can be modular assembled as Ultratech.

2006/
2007
In 2006 RAPID presented the processing center MFC II with an external screwing unit which improves the efficiency by 35-40%. For the first time RAPID also offers in 2007 a processing center Holz MFC on the wood sector.

Also we offer the proved Double Mitre Saws, Precission and Frame saws as well as the Mitre Joint Assembling Machines.
